At reddverse, you have full control over your personal data. You can delete your account and all associated information at any time directly through the app or by submitting a deletion request.
1. How to Delete Your Account In-App
The fastest way to delete your account is directly within the reddverse Android app:

Step 1: Open the reddverse app and open the side menu.
•
Step 2: Tap on Settings.
•
Step 3: Scroll to the bottom and select Delete Account.
•
Step 4: Enter your account password to verify your identity and confirm deletion.
2. Request Deletion via Email
If you have uninstalled the app or are unable to log in, you can request account deletion via email:
•
Sender Account: Send the email from the email address registered with your reddverse account.
•
Subject Line: Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
•
Information Needed: Include your reddverse username so we can locate your account.
3. What Data Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is removed:
•
Account Information: Username, email address, mobile number, date of birth, display name, bio, and profile picture.
•
Content You Created: Posts, debate propositions, arguments, comments, gathering listings, poll votes, and uploaded media.
•
Social Connections: Followers, following lists, and blocked account lists.
•
Messages: Direct and group chat messages and media sent in chat.
4. Data Retention & Purge Timeline
As detailed in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service:
•
Immediate Removal: Upon deletion, your account, profile, and content are immediately hidden from other users and removed from public feeds.
•
180-Day Safety Window: Deleted account and content data is retained in a hidden, encrypted state for up to 180 days for legal, safety, and dispute-resolution purposes, after which it is permanently and irreversibly purged.
